The service

Maplet generates HTML embed code for publicly available Google Maps views. The tool is provided free of charge, as-is, without warranties of availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Your responsibilities

Use of the embedded maps on your website is governed by Google’s Terms of Service for Google Maps; you are responsible for complying with them. Location search is powered by OpenStreetMap Nominatim under the OSMF usage policy — automated bulk querying through this tool is not permitted. Don’t use the tool to misrepresent a location or impersonate a business.

The generated code

Snippets produced by the generator are yours to use without attribution, in commercial and non-commercial projects alike. The map content inside the iframe remains Google’s.

Liability

Map data, imagery and routing come from third parties and can change or become unavailable; Maplet is not liable for changes to embedded map behaviour, business listings or route accuracy.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date on the published page reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
